What is the cheapest good quality inkjet all-in-one printer in India that also costs less in maintenance?
I’m planning to buy an inkjet all-in-one printer that has photo and text printing, copy and scan features for my home. The monthly usage would be moderate. I found some really good all-in-ones from HP and Canon but I would like to shortlist a device that has lower maintenance costs like cost of cartridge apart from being cheap to buy. I’d be really happy if someone can help me make a decision. Thanks.
DEEP ANSWER – take ur time to read thoroughly and if u do u dont need to think anymore to decide whether is canon or hp. I am not in India, but i just want to help you by getting you know which is the best by features vs quality ….take my answer as a knowledge resource n sorry for my non indian web examples ……. they’re just there to help you get the idea.
i was in a mission of finding what exactly you are asking for, a couple of months before, when i finally got my results on finding the best All in ones thats cheap also ……. i bought the “Brother MFC 240C” for -US$99, then again it has its memory slots and a flat bed scanner, which is much better for the price, and 4 cartridge system ……for the price it cant be beat …
then for my next pc, i was looking for another one this time, and i found it in newegg.com, its a “Canon Pixma MP460″ a true photo printer with memory slot loaders and a True USB port for PictBridge printing, and then an amazing scanner, with all those bells and whistles features for only US$79… yes i didnt believe the price at first either, but trust i’ve got it right infront of me right now and its awesome …….. it also got a color screen, and quiet mode printing which could be set permanently or (xx.pm – xx.am ) for a certain time to time, for all the features and extras i am happy i did purchase my canon …… check it out in the link below ….

well if your looking cheaper, which will be much worse in quality and design wise, n then, there are not many photo all in ones out there, and this is the best bet i found for you considering money ….. even though cheaper ones such as Lexmark’s X and epson are existant they dont stand this printers quality ….take my word for it and u’ll be happy u did …
if u stil need a printer thats all in one, and not so photo printing then consider the following …
1. Lexmark x1270

2. Brother DCP 130c

3. Lexmark x2350 & x2470 & x3470 from top to bottom

4. Epson Stylus CX5000

again, these are not so photoprinters, make sure u read the reviews so you’ll understand what i mean by not so great but gettin job done pretty much…..
confused ?
your answer would be – canon does its job perfectly and its design and quality always stands out ….i would only rate a HP 4 out 5 the maximum, and Canon a 5 outa 5 without even thinking….Very low maintanence cost with cartridges also …for some printers HP got the cheapest cartridges around 12 dollars each, but eventhough the Canon that i use uses a cartridge that varies from 12-20U$D, i found my cannon the best bet. Canon would be my choice if i was you .
not sure if you would find these on stores in india … but take my answer as a small review or help for you to understand abt printers pricing vs quality…
my printer in ur indian money would be 3250rupee if i am not wrong …and all the middle order ones will range from 1625 – 3300rupee for ur price
HP for cheapest cheapie with broken wings … and Canon for Quality and still remaining in low price .. in everyway canon beats HP.
hope my answer helped, good luck bro ……
Are All Cheap Inkjet Cartridges Bad?
Don’t make the mistake of believing that the best value is always found in a cheap inkjet cartridges. Frequently, value has several considerations other than the low cost you find in a discount printer cartridge and cut-rate ink refills. Aside from the damage that sub-standard ink can do to your printer, the durability, quality, and precision of your print job are all factors you need to consider when buying cheaper-than-normal inkjet cartridges.
If you’re looking for cheap inkjet printer cartridges, depending on the type of project you normally print, an OEM (original manufacturer equipment) cartridge may actually be your best value. Although a discount printer cartridge or other ink refills may be less expensive, many manufacturers’ cartridges are developed for specific types of print. These cartridges are engineered to bond with your print media and to optimize your entire print job from start to finish; something not all third party cartridges are capable of doing.
A cheap printer cartridge may not deliver the long-term durability that your print job requires, especially in the case where you intend to archive the files for future reference. Or even if you plan to make a print template from which to run future copies or other documents like a fax cover sheet. In addition, brand name ink refills often stand up better to the elements and forces of nature.
For instance, many OEM cartridges are specially formulated to be water resistant, which is a very important property for outdoor banner or flyer printing and especially crucial for those print jobs you intend to transfer onto washable items like clothing. Some of the cheaper cartridges can’t make the same boast.
Before you go out to buy a heap of new ink cartridges, consider the result you want to achieve with your print job. Many craft projects like making mouse pads or putting an image on a coffee mug require a top-quality ink to withstand heavy use. Make sure you factor this into your buying decision when the time comes.
However, you don’t always have to pay a premium price to get premium quality ink refills. Many companies adhere to high standards when manufacturing compatible inks. Just be sure that your ink supplier provides the information you need to make a wise decision for your print project before you spend your hard earned dollars on cheap ink cartridges for your printer.
There’s still great value to be had by shopping online for your inkjet supplies – just make sure you’re buying the right type to suit your printing projects and your pocket.
